Calculation Mode

In order to use AGi32’s rendering function you must set the calculation mode to Full Radiosity Method. This instructs the software to use the radiosity engine to compute global illumination and complete exchange of light between all surfaces. The end result is a solution where the luminous exitance is known for all surfaces in the model. The calculations can be run in either Model or Render modes.

Calculated or uncalculated – The Render tab can be accessed when the model is in either an uncalculated or calculated state. If opened prior to running the radiosity process, the model will appear as a wireframe. All navigation is active.

When calculating in render mode you can watch the radiosity process. When complete, you can reference the Calculation Summary from the Calculate menu.
